Would that drain your car's battery?

I have no idea, just asking. I'm old enough to remember if you left the radio on your battery would be dead by morning then would need to push start it and pop the clutch.

Snagged the combo on amazon for $369 before tax about 10m ago...

But just cancelled it all. Nice to have but total impulse buy for me. A bunch of other impulse buys I have sitting in my amazon save for later list that I'd rather have when it comes down to it.

Seems like a great deal, though, IF I needed it.

Ya almost got me SD...almost! That brings tally tooooo...

SD ~1,000...Me ~3

Would this charge my plug in hybrid eg if i take a trip, run out of electricity, can i charge with this unit and get more juice for the trip home?
I am assuming this is a joke question, but I'll answer anyway.

This lower bank is 500Wh of energy. A Tesla uses about 200Wh per mile.

At best you would get less than 2miles charging your car with this.

Good point, just checked the bottom of my Kitchenaid electric kettle, and it says 1500W.

I wonder if there are 500W electric kettles available, and if that w/this River 2 Max would boil a pot of water...
It's unlikely that anyone would sell a heating device like a kettle with an option to heat 3x slower than the competition.

now if ya got a 220 volt old school kettle from Europe it might do the trick for ya!!!

Yep. LiFePO4 seems like a good chemistry for off-grid or even grid-tied battery backup systems. Less risk of burning your house to the ground (than lithium ion), no deep-cycle problems like lead-acid, and far more longevity than both.
The thing absolutely dislike about LA is the incredible difficulty charging it. Along with the 50% use issue, to really charge LA to 100% takes forever since it charges so slow on the top end. Doesn't really matter how many watts you got. It's also impossible to determine the exact charge level just based on the voltage.

I use a 300w electric kettle from Amazon. It's not the fastest, but it does work with these lower-wattage batteries:

Nice, and I just stumbled on this 500w kettle for $19.99 ... apparently collapsible because top is silicone! Triple-camel reports this as its lowest price ever: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1

Isn't it much easier and cheaper to just bring an insulated tumbler with hot water? Guess it is too hard for you to admit this thing is useless in winter.

It's LIVE on Amazon again and it was $359.51/shipped after code TMEASYEF8! Great deal!
I wonder if they were restocks due to cancelations.

But extremely glad it's dead again. I had just decided to buy it off of Amazon when the deal ended.

Already have an EcoFlow 100w solar panel for my original River Max.

Did anyone have Ecoflow do a manual override on your order to charge you for the free 110 solar panel? I noticed it on my PayPal. Raising it to $633. I emailed them and told them to either remove the free solar panel charge or cancel order.
