I just recently moved to a Pixel 7 Pro. Is there an advantage to using these or the Pixel Buds compared to another Bluetooth earbuds? Does Google do anything extra when staying in their ecosystem, like Apple with their iPhones and AirPods?

If you look up Google Fast Pairing you'll get a sense of what it does with a Pixel phone. In a sense, it makes it super simple to pair devices and there are also lots of touch controls and Google assistant commands to use. Also, live translate works with the Pixel Buds Pro and that's a Pixel-Exclusive feature, I believe.
In for a pair for my son after the review by my daughter the last time they were on sale. She said they were better in every way than two of the other competitors out there that she tried. thanks OP, repped!

The pixel buds A have much clearer audio to my ears and the bass boost sounds better than the bass on the pros.
I would buy these pros for $100 though considering the battery life bump. They will drop down eventually otherwise I'll stick with the buds A.
Edit: And direct from Google [google.com]. 🤦
