Premier: Federal ($17.48) + State ($22.48) = $39.96 Regular: $34.95 + $44.95 = $79.90

Confirmed still working 2/16. I had already started my taxes last month, but opting in through the link I'll just need to re-enter everything.

if you have complicated taxes, you can go through the filing process with TaxAct (or anything else basically), and do the same with Cash App Taxes. if your total values all look the same in the end, just complete the filing with Cash App instead. the only thing that matters is that you pay the proper amount (or get the proper refund if your withholding was too high)

Signed up under the offer, but just logged in and see the full price in my account for the return I created November 28th. Guess they changed it from the price is set when you create the return to when you pay/file the return.

Go through the entire process of filing your taxes twice just to save $35? That's intense

Once you have all the data in all the right places, it takes less than 30 minutes to re-enter it. Maybe less than 15.

Welcome to slickdeals. I'm sure plenty of people would do the extra hour of data entry to save $35. Also, it's to ensure you didn't make any mistakes. If your taxes are simple I would just use Cash App Taxes period.. but if you have a long 1099-B, like for example if you use Betterment, I think this is probably the best route.

Can anyone please share a screenshot of Self-Employed: Federal ($32.48) + State ($22.48) = $54.96? Even I signed up for this price but it went up in the middle of filing and showing I need to pay the full price. I forgot to capture a screenshot showing the lower price. Thanks in advance!

I filed using Premium + State with 50% discount Yesterday only and used AMEX for another 30%. So, link in wiki is working fine.

I used the link here after it was supposed to expire for deluxe and it worked, the only problem is I have to file two states and the second state is full price, which really sucks.

I will also use my Amex 30% back offer, so that helps.

Crazy that we sign up for this 1/2 price deal and Taxact doesn't honor it.

I had signed my mom up for Premium and I signed up for the Self Emaployed.

I saw my price when I went to start my taxes and had to fight with a couple of Taxact reps before they finally agreed to apply the discount to my acct to put it to the deal that I signed up for. He basically just applied a 50.00 discount which reflected before I efiled.

Then I was going to help my mom do hers, and her price went up also. So I can to call Taxact again and had to talk to 2 people before they too agreed to put the price at the price that we signed up for.

So I would say if price went up, call Taxact 319-373-3600 and I went to prompt that asks if 2022 question, then the next promp I selected billing. I think it was 1 then 2, or it night have been click 2 and then 1.

Fight for the prices promised and what you signed up for. You locked it in and they can't just increase the prices. They'll tell you prices went up but you're still getting half price, Don't let them get by with that.

With a little persistence, they will put a discount in your acct. After they do it, you won't see the discounted price until you get to the end where you're about to e-file and the price should show a discount. You won't see it in your return before you file. It'll still be the high price.

Anyway, that' s my experience.

I mean what's the point of signing and locking in a deal if they don't honor it. That's crazy and scammy.

I didn't need any screenshot but thankfully when I came back to this thread, it had the prices that I had signed up for so I just told them that's what I locked in.
