Yes, I did the same. I had 100 days of essentials left, so I bought 365 days of Essential, and then a premium upgrade of 465 days again. Got 25% off on each.

They have three tiers for sale. If you are not a plus member currently, then you pick the tier you want and get charged for that tier. If you have a plan currently and want to upgrade, you get charged a pro-rated fee to upgrade your account to your next renewal date. You can stack a subscription after the upgrade the charge.

Bought 15 years at 23 a year or so in 2022 Good til 2035! I paid the 150 to upgrade so I’m ps premium premiere or whatever

Sony used to have the 50% off PS Plus a few times a year, but ever since the introduction of the redesigned subscriptions, they have offered it zero times. I don't think they will offer that deal again and the best deal you are going to get from Sony is going to be this 25% off. You can find bigger discounts online (CD Keys, Eneba) but not from Sony so if you don't want to use CD Keys or something similar, you may want to purchase directly from Sony,

As far as buying directly from PlayStation or a regular retailer, pretty much. You might see it for $40 from stores like Walmart and Target, closer to Christmas. If you’re on SlickDeals enough, you’ll see it for $40 pretty often from sites like Eneba or CDKeys. That’s just for the lowest tier (aka Essential). This is the first time I’ve seen a deal on the other tiers. You can always convert that Essential tier, but you get fewer months out of it. Once upon a time, sites like Eneba and CDKeys had it for $27-$32 just about every other week. That stopped about 2 years ago, though.

Mine expired yesterday I went to the tab where it shows the tiers of pricing and they offered 7 day trial to try out the mid and most expensive plan Hopefully the retailers offer a better discount

This is the lowest tier, right?

I feel like I see deals for $40 at least once a week every since I bought mine for $45. If I didn't already have a sub, I would NOT jump on this deal.

They lost 2 million subs with this new tiered nonsense so they should be worried. Everyone should vote with their wallet and they’ll be forced to reevaluate their plans.

careful those sites might steal your credit card info, and probably charge you taxes on psn no taxes & i got paypal saved my purchases are super easy and safe no code punching

I will do that then so I can play until tomorrow or if later comes out a better offer from CDKeys for the essential. Those new tiers are confusing
