Yes, I did the same. I had 100 days of essentials left, so I bought 365 days of Essential, and then a premium upgrade of 465 days again. Got 25% off on each.

They have three tiers for sale. If you are not a plus member currently, then you pick the tier you want and get charged for that tier. If you have a plan currently and want to upgrade, you get charged a pro-rated fee to upgrade your account to your next renewal date. You can stack a subscription after the upgrade the charge.

I went to the tab where it shows the tiers of pricing and they offered 7 day trial to try out the mid and most expensive plan
Hopefully the retailers offer a better discount
I feel like I see deals for $40 at least once a week every since I bought mine for $45. If I didn't already have a sub, I would NOT jump on this deal.
