Mine expired yesterday

I went to the tab where it shows the tiers of pricing and they offered 7 day trial to try out the mid and most expensive plan

Hopefully the retailers offer a better discount

This is the lowest tier, right?

I feel like I see deals for $40 at least once a week every since I bought mine for $45. If I didn't already have a sub, I would NOT jump on this deal.

Sony used to have the 50% off PS Plus a few times a year, but ever since the introduction of the redesigned subscriptions, they have offered it zero times. I don't think they will offer that deal again and the best deal you are going to get from Sony is going to be this 25% off. You can find bigger discounts online (CD Keys, Eneba) but not from Sony so if you don't want to use CD Keys or something similar, you may want to purchase directly from Sony,

I will do that then so I can play until tomorrow or if later comes out a better offer from CDKeys for the essential. Those new tiers are confusing

Yea, that's what I'm waiting for. Just remember to cancel that 7 day trial or else they will charge you once it ends for that auto renewal

Here's a question. Since $45 will be the price via Sony, is it possible to use our balance from psn to pay for it?

I've been stacking the GameStop $10 psn codes by using the $5 so technically it would be $22.50 per year
