That literally has nothing to do with the quality of the protein
muscle milk has a larger serving size and less protein per serving. Therefore, for the amount of protein you get per container it's not necessarily cheaper than ON -- muscle milk is 35% fillers, ON is 20% fillers. Both products go on sale frequently.

Muscle Milk (on sale)
2267g per container and has 1473g protein per container. $40 and $0.027/gram of protein

ON (not on sale)
2267 per container and has 1813g protein per container. $80 and $0.044/gram of protein

Protein per gram of product (serving size varies by product) is one gauge and then the type of protein for evaluating quality.
With that said, Id rather have something with less calories and fillers per suggested serving and just wait for a better product to go on sale.
Quality can be subjective and an indicator that a product meets a user's expectations (which varies by user). PURITY of a product is different and yes, while this does have fillers, it probably tastes delicious. Not everyone cares about precise manipulation of macros and just want an easy and tasty way to get more protein in their diet for a good value.

Currently using quest whey- casein. I pay $20 for 1.6 lb, how does muscle milk do for baking or protein ice cream?

I may be stupid but is there a "better" type of protein for a woman that's trying to be fit but nit build mass like most men?

You want to look fit and slim, then build mass like men! Muscle is a fat burning machine, so many women make the mistake of thinking if I lift weights I'll gain mass. NOOOO, thankfully more and more women are learning this.

You wanna burn more fat than you've ever done, then lift weights, build mass, you'll look good, feel good and be in the best shape of your life. After your workout pound some protein, best is chicken, easiest is protein shakes like this.

My local Costco has ON gold standard, 88 serving bag for $62 = $0.77 per serving. This is $40 for 66 servings = $0.60 per serving. Decent deal, but holding strong for Black Friday to pay the exact same price. 💪🫡

Bought this before since all the other wheys were pricey. Absolutely powdery and will not dissolve well in either water or milk. I thought I was going to choke drinking this.

I'm not sure how you prepared it but we used this for years and loved it. You can't just dump a bunch of powder in a cup and shake it up though. My favorite was pouring in milk, the powder, and banana (for creaminess) into a blender (vitamix and blendtec are my favorites) and blending it for a minute at lower speed to avoid frothing and crushing the banana seeds. Adding ice chips also helps keep the temperature down as well as helping to mix it up.

If that's too much work, just buy the premade protein shakes at Costco.

you pay for 5lb of protein , when it is not pure you have to add all of these unwanted fat and carb ... to your daily macro that is why pure protein like ISO are more expensive since they are at least 90% pure

What makes it unwanted fat and carbs? So you don't eat any fat or carbs, just protein? You must be built like a 12 yr old then. You don't get bigger without the right balance of macros. If this fits your macros then great. If not then buy something else. Your one size fits all doesn't make sense for someone who actually wants some mass

The bag clearly says 1 scoop per serving. What may be tripping people up is amazon is showing a pic of a 1lb bag, so 12 servings not 60.

As for the people in the reviews, I couldn't tell you. If the Amazon reviewers are as misinformed as half the posters in this thread, I wouldn't waste my time reading them.

Yeah it took me a bit to realize it was a picture for the 1lb bag. Not the 5.

Or use protein powder, fruits, a bit of sugar free pudding mix or xantham gum, milk, fruits etc. Puree it in blender and pour into ninja cream pint. Freeze it and process it in ninja creami. You get home made ice cream texture

You will not build mass by drinking protein powder. The men you're thinking of in your head are not that way by just drinking protein powder. Trust me.

Yes I know, still need to work out.
My question was, if a girl is working to maintain her slim and fit physique, does the type of protein she drink matter?

I think everyone got that typo's intended meaning, the replies are an attempt to disillusion the false belief that weightlifting/muscle building always causes masculine bulking in women.

Macronutrients and therefore how much non-protein filler is something to pay attention to. But ultimately for the look you are describing it comes down to having enough body fat to smooth out muscle definition and weight lifting techniques, not a specific protein type.

Ohh hello Mr man stuck in the 1950s, I'll offer you a whole thousand dollars for your car and whole ten thousand dollars for your house, and you're going to accept because that's an amazing offer for the 1950s and since you haven't paid any attention to what's happened since at all right??? Sweet, let's draw up this paperwork!

Ok so literally the type or brand of protein doesn't matter for men or women?
