I opened starter pack yesterday and funded $100 into investment account. It shouldn't matter which account you put money into since both accounts qualify for the bonus. If you are not sure, read fine print of the offer.

I had used a similar type of promotion earlier this yr. Deposit $50 get $100
Fine print says you can not get the bonus again if you have gotten bonus from Fidelity in similar offers within last 12 months..

You can not open Fidelity account for kids. Account holders have to be over 18 year old. However, they have teen account and there's $50 bonus offer for that. There's a post about it on SD. But to be able to open teen account, an adult needs to have Fidelity account, I believe. So, I opened my own Fidelity account (starter pack) yesterday with this $150 bonus and am going to open teen account (with $50 bonus) for my 14 year old son, which is a good idea since he doesn't have a bank account and needs one with his own debit card.

No, account holders must be over 18 years old. They have youth account for teenagers. There's $50 bonus for youth account.
