My least favorite whey powder. It's super thick. Consistency of 1 scoop is equivalent to 4 scoops of Dymatize ISO100. Tastes decent though.

Tons of sodium and gmo feed go into those chickens though. Anyone recommend and protein powder without any artificial sweeteners that actually taste good?

Protein prices have exploded over the last year because our government has an open war against anything cow related. This is about as cheap as it gets anymore.
Do you know that protein can come from plants too right?

I hate when they have these numbers but then you realize its 2 scoops serving they are talking about. Good deal though with the way prices are today on whey. Im going to wait for Black Friday. Pretty sure will find the same price on different brands as well.

PS for those complaining its to thick. Use water instead.
Just make sure the water is not from Camp Lejeun.
But seriously though casein is even thicker than this; close your eyes and chug it.

Sodium is not your enemy if you sweat. It makes up electrolytes and is one of the ingredients in gatorade and other sports drinks.

Your concern makes it sound like you live a sedentary life, so yes, you are likely getting to much sodium to be sitting on the couch all day.

Not really. To get all the essential amino acids and to get them anywhere close to the nearly 1 gram of protein per 1 lbs body weight for optimal muscle gain, you need to truck loads of legumes, soy, etc, and still will likely be low on some essential amino acids and definitely low on natural creatine. I'm not even going to get into the fact that taking in excessive soy heightens your estrogen by a lot and you might as well be taking steroids since you will be getting b*tch tits either way.

This stuff vs Sams/Costco chicken

Cellucor with additives of questionable origin
Servings per container: 70
Protein per serving: 24g
Cost per g of protein: $0.02552
---------------------
cost per 24g: $0.61

Whole chicken, with fiber, you know the stuff that nature created
Total protein: 164.2g
Cost: $4.99
---------------------
cost per 24g: $0.73

remember, what you do in the kitchen is more important than what you do at the gym. play the long game, you will not find any shortcuts.
Noob comment, health wise. Supplements are meant to…..supplement. You should be eating a good diet of healthy proteins, not this trash can Costco chicken. Cook it yourself. Protein shakes are meant to fill in the spaces where you can't get all the real food.

I previously used many different brands of whey protein (similar to what is listed here) until I finally came across organic grass-fed whey protein with no additives. I would highly recommend that everyone try any reputable brand of organic grass-fed whey protein because you will be shocked at how much better it works.
Any recommendations? Like iconic?

Anyone know of microbial enzyme based protein powders? Just want to know where the whey for these powders is sourced from and what enzyme base is used. Thanks a bunch

Dymatize ISO100 has some good Amazon price drops, that is my preferred protein. 1 serving is just 1 small scoop and 110 calories, just by the calorie count you already know it has minimal filler.

In the past 4 months, I was able to get two 5lb tubs (76 servings), one for $41 and the other for $48.

Yes. Because it's easy for me to bust open my container of chicken vs a protein shake when:

-I'm in an ambulance on the way to a call
-Driving (harder to eat) to/from job/school
-At school and have a shaker cup vs a giant piece of chicken in my side pocket of my pack

Also, are those chickens you're talking about the ones that have breasts 5x the size as normal chickens because they're pumped full of steroids and antibiotics? You know, like nature created?
it's like saying I am just so busy that I don't have time to sleep and give my muscles need sleep time to recover. cool, try negotiating that situation with you muscles.

the truth is that your muscles just don't care. if you want max growth you need to feed it the right stuff and give it the environment needed for growth. no natural bodybuilder has gained from protein drinks, they did it by eating, yes, eating food.

and an unregulated supplement that is made in the lab is somehow better. you and I can open our protein lab tomorrow and we will not have to get any license from anyone, just open a DBA and we are all set. a lemonade stand has more regulation imposed on it than a supplement company.

For somebody who's actually taking their supplement intake seriously? No.

You might as well just wait to see what Walmart has their house blend powder at on black friday/cyber monday before throwing down on that mass market junk.

lab rats should not be asking questions, they should be too busy drinking the magic potion.
