If you are comparing Macy's colognes with Amazon, you have a lot to learn about colognes and its genuine sellers. Dillard's, Bloomingdale, Sephora, and Macy's sell original colognes. Amazon is mostly fake when it comes to colognes.

I have around 90 bottles of designer and niche, and the ADG line is one of my favorites for freshies. This scent has a blast of fruity opening that drysdown to a woody aromatic scent. People will like it, and it's versatile. For this price, I'd recommend it for sure.

There's a lot of misinformation throughout this thread. EdP doesn't necessarily mean it last longer. Companies have been using the EdP title as just a flanker or maybe a darker or new scent altogether. You can still get a fake when ordering directly from Amazon. Nothing in the AdG line has terrible performance, you won't have a problem with spraying it then unable to smell it a couple minutes later. If you have this problem you have a fake or an old badly kept bottle.

Lastly, you should try this scent yourself, because fragrances are subjective. What one person or majority may love, someone else can find meh. I myself do not love the Profumo that everyone claims is the best in the line. I'd much rather the Profundo/lights or the EdP. Absolu isn't bad. They just went for a different (younger) audience with this one.

Was really excited at first because I love Acqua Di Gio Profumo, but all reviews point to Absolu being a downgrade. Not as long lasting.

For $60 if you have zero high end colognes and want to try this one, it's a good deal.

For someone who buys higher end colognes...this probably isn't worth it.

Edit: Lattafa Suqraat is an extremely close and extremely cheap (~$35) dupe of Profumo w/ not as good performance but still pretty decent. I have both.

I completely agree. Macys sell genuine colognes and perfumes. I trust it more than duty free shops.
