Anyone know how the penetration is on this? I have thick walls in my house, I have a Linksys Velop three-satellite system that works okay but I definitely need something that can get through my whole house easier.

I haven't done a side-to-side but best guess is it would perform similarly. The "pro" here just means some software and VPN stuff. The newer quad band Orbi's on 6Ghz might have a better shot at higher performance

Any current users that can comment on the software? Concerned that this model is label 'discontinued' and won't receive any further software updates.

Yup, you need to change your AT&T router/gateway to passthrough mode.

You can replace your existing router with this system.

I have old plaster walls that love to block and eat up WiFi signal. What worked amazing for me was running ethernet backhauls to each satellite. Night and day difference.

I have a strong desire to program a creep. Will I lose security if this gets cold?

actually depending on the AT&T modem model you probably can't - you can only use this router in AP mode in some cases.

Some att devices are modem, router and wifi 3 in 1. You can't replace those with this router because this does not have modem.

FYI this is not the Pro where they only have dual-band and not tri-band dedicated for the satellite. Pro $199 and the previous pro model is $150 which I think could be better than wifi 6

Wired ethernet backhaul to whatever your using seems to be the golden ticket when you able to do so. Another solution is powerline extenders but it has it own downsides/limitations.

Can I use this to extend my Fios network? I have the CR1000A router. If so, how can I go about extending my network with this system?
