You need an active line to get the 20K. You would be better off by creating a new account with a referral (5K) then add a line (10K) for a total of 15K. All referral codes now give 5K -- Tracfone got rid of the 8K for referrals.

You don't have to wait to activate because Tracfone service stacks. If you have an existing Tracfone line with 3 months of service and don't care about unlocking or points, you can activate the first phone, click keep my number, and the new phone will be activated with 15 months of service, the 1500 min/text/data plus whatever you had remaining. Then, the next day, activate the second phone, click keep my number, and phone 2 will now have 27 months of service and the combined min/text/data.

If you want to unlock the phones or maximize points, the strategy is different.

anyone redeemed phone discount before?? do they get expiration days? do they only apply for buying single phone, or i can buy 2 phones to add the price total

If you are talking about the discount codes you get with rewards, they expire I think 2 or 3 months later. I used a 300$ code towards two iPhone 11s, so you can use towards multiple phones as long as they are in the same transaction, though not towards plans when the phones require you purchase a month.

No, coupon will not apply to plan. If you have a $200 coupon and purchase a $189 phone plus a $15 plan, the coupon will apply to the phone and you will have to pay $15. The rest of the coupon is lost.

And as stated above, the coupon will apply to multiple phones, but not to any of the plans.

Can you still get 20,000 points if you no longer have an active line? I ported my last Tracfone line out 8 months ago or so. If I activate these two lines, will I only get 10,000 points?

I got this 2 pack a while ago. One of the phones works flawlessly, the other was problematic right out of the box. Freezing screen, and crashing multiple times a day. Reset or removing all non factory apps did not solve the issue. Just an fyi.

How did you activate both phones coz they ask for upgrade and send you sim card for the new phone ?
I mean when i ordered mine i chose upgrade and typed my number and once arrived with new sim I activated it but if i order two with one coupon and foe one number how will i activate them ?

Yes, but it may not have all the T-Mobile bands. I bought this a few months ago and tested it with my T-Mobile SIM after it was unlocked.
