I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but if you have a gmail account, say [email protected], you have aliases built in by inserting a "." period. So if you gave your email as [email protected] or [email protected], those would be auto forwarded to your main inbox. Handy for times when you need a "new" email account but can't be bothered to generate a whole new one and need to remember what it was and what the password is.

Best bet is to get this, and when you need to use the Plus part of the membership, upgrade. I usually wait until I need to have something shipped (or a curbside pickup) before I upgrade so the upgrade charge is prorated.

Signed up for the previous promotion ( pay $45 get $45 off on first purchase) and finally went to buy something and there was no $45 off available! Customer Service couldn't see any such promo ever applied!

rule #2. use credit card for everything, that way you can file a dispute.

rule #3. keep track of every single document (print or screen capture, emails . . . .)
