Not ultrawide. DQHD. Same one as Costco $799 which is on FP. This is the best price so far. Not as curvy as higher model.
Got it at this price a month ago when none of 3 models showed right price at checkout. Other two were more expensive and this one was cheaper than advertised.
What's the best gaming monitor to pair with a 3090? I currently have a 32" 144hz 1440p LG.
It depends on what you're looking for. For me, it's immersion, and the best for that is either running 3 identical monitors or the Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo. At this point, with current sale prices, I'd go G9 Neo - assuming it'll be available at $1150 again.
Need it for productivity, multi-task so not a lot of gaming. Do want 1440p and good enough color accuracy for photo/video editing. Wondering if this is ok for what I'm looking for.
"The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is an overall improvement from the Samsung C49RG9/CRG9, which came out two years before the Neo G9. The Neo G9 has HDMI 2.1 inputs, meaning you can achieve a much higher refresh rate over HDMI, and it has a 240Hz max refresh rate compared to 120Hz on the CRG9. The Neo G9 also has better motion handling because it has a much quicker response time on the 'Standard' overdrive setting. The Neo G9 uses Mini LED backlighting, allowing it to get a bit brighter and have a much better local dimming feature, so there's less blooming."
"Overall, the Samsung Odyssey G9 is a bit better than the Samsung C49RG9/CRG9, mainly due to its higher refresh rate and lower input lag. However, the CRG9 has significantly less overshoot when running at its maximum refresh rate even though its response time is slightly slower, and it gets much brighter in SDR."
"The Samsung CRG9 is a bit better than the Samsung C49HG90/CHG90. The CRG9 has a higher resolution screen, flicker-free backlight, and a faster response time. The CHG90 has a slightly higher refresh rate, but this doesn't add much."
