Edit: Context: Often I see parents giving a 25$ target or Amazon gc as a gift. Or then gifts of varied monetary value for 3 to 6 year olds' birthdays. I'm talking about casual relationships like preschool classmates / playdates / neighborhood kids / daycare classmates etc. Would this look appropriate, fun and also not "cheap"? Thanks.
Thanks. This is my first time buying hot wheels track set. But I've seen 3-4 year olds playing with the hot wheels / matchbox cars and also with basic hot wheels / matchbox track sets or garage sets. Is this one of those 'it depends' toys or really this toy is hard to operate for a younger kid? Thanks and repped.
I'm in the same boat as you did. Let's wait to see if there are people with experience with the hot wheels track set.

Thanks for sharing. I'd check out the sets you mentioned. Now that I got in on this deal, I was wondering if all-in-one mega set from Costco / Amazon might be adequate as well as indulgent at the same time for a first time player. Unable to find it on Costco unfortunately. I know they used to have a reasonably priced mega set with huge box to store it all in, with lots of pieces and attachments.
