If you are talking about the 3070 deal difference (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuy...58)...here are the main differences.

$1149 vs $1499

3070 vs 3080 GPU
Core i7 1200F vs Core i7 1200KF processor
Same Memory/Ram amount but 3200 vs 3000 for some reason
Same SSD Storage
3070 model is air cooled with a 700 watt PSU and the 3080 model is liquid cooled with a 750 watt PSU

Both are pretty good deals. I think it just depends on your wants/needs - 3070 model will be great for most people and can run most things like butter up at 1440p or less. If you want to be more future proof or are looking at 4k gaming or value liquid cooling, the higher end model might be better for you.

Wanted to stop by and say that I picked this up a few days ago and I am very pleased with it.

Best Buy assured me there was no restocking fee, and extended returns would be honored.

The packaging was exceptional. I was pleased with the foam they packed inside the case, and the amount of plastic wrap so that when I was ready, I unwrapped a beautiful finger-print free rig.

Other than a link to the IBuy website, there was little to no bloatware. At least not that I've seen.

Startup was a breeze. The only hiccup was having to switch the port I plugged my monitor into on startup to find which one was being used. 5 seconds.

RGB software was installed, but I had to Google for a link to the software and re-install it to get access to all the features.

It was an exciting experience and I am very happy with my purchase. It couldn't have been easier and the old fears I have had since the early 2000's (bloatware, having to register a bunch of things, updating drivers for everything, etc) were unfounded.

Great purchase. You won't regret it, even if this is the fallback you'll get if a better deal doesn't come around by Monday.

I hope this helps someone.

Edit: woooo my first post since 2014. I have officially emerged from the shadows.

Imho stick with 3070, i pulled the trigger yesterday on that deal. In a couple years i can just replace my 3070 with another better one for around $300. That 3070 even serves me well with 4k.
I was thinking the same, however, I was reading people mentioning that the PSU should be upgraded. I know that's an inexpensive mod, but that plus the included liquid cooler w/240mm rad on this one just increased that from a $300 upgrade in a few years to around $500 total. This seems more complete with fewer future mods needed for $350 more now. Just food for thought if anyone is on the fence.

No, not without replacing the motherboard first. Z690 and Z790 chipsets can use DD4 or DDR5 depending on the model but not both.

Dell's proprietary parts would have me hesitant for future upgrade options. At least this isn't using OEM parts like Dell.

No, it would require a new motherboard. You can upgrade to better ddr4 though

3070 is marginally greater than 3060ti but 3070ti and 3080 are substantially different products

5800x is technically better but it's rare to have cpu bottleneck unless you are 1080p

Hmmmm, I still think most recent MSI deal (now out of stock) I saw for $1550 was a better deal, altho this ibuypower looks to have better cooling?

How does this deal compare to this? The GPUs look to be on par while the CPU on the Amd looks slightly slower.
