Help Me Find A PC Case
November 20, 2022 at

Sorry if this is a lame question, but it's been several years since I built my current PC. I'm just not up on things anymore. I need to move my stuff into a new case. I have a Asrock Z77 Pro 4 Mother board, a GTX 660ti graphics card. Not sure about the power supply. Can someone recommend a case that will work with this old technology, one that may be on sale for a good price...TIA

Some cases are a smaller form factor like mini or micro atx, those won't work. Things like font panel USB would be one of the main things that may not work as new cases will mostly be USB3.
You may be better off putting your money towards a new PC. This is after all a 10-11 year old computer.

If you want USB 2 ports on the front panel you might need to get a hub, but newer ones may not even have external drive bays from what I have seen.
I think Newegg has some older models though, are you looking for cheap or looking for a better looking case? Upgrading or just replacing for basic functionality? It seems like $40 is about as low as it gets these days.

Unfortunately it is only available in store and their stock locator is messed up. So the only way to get it would be to find it in store.

Looks like they specs aren't that accurate either, I don't know why they'd say USB 1.1.
That other Cooler Master one for $30 might accomodate this board though, might be one at a local store that isn't showing in online inventory.
