Even with the $100 it's going to cost about the same as the Walmart Animal 2 deal I was able to get recently. The price of the Animal 2 was $250 plus tax ($270) and I received $5.00 CB. This deal will cost 356.50 and $3 CB so about $88.50 more and then a $100 rewards that I really don't need for anything. It's a good deal for sure if you didn't get in on the Walmart Animal 2 deal, but I don't think the hassle to return my Animal 2 and buy this would be worth it for me. The Animal 3 is suppose to be slightly improved, but the 2 works so much better than the Bissell Pro rewind we were using so I think I'll just stick with it. Good deal though for a lot of people.

The refurbished ones always come in a brown cardboard box and say refurbished all over them plus paperwork that shows refurbished and only a 6 month warranty. Myself and others found that Dyson CS reps give out inaccurate information.

Deal worked. The checkout process was a bit clunky but it worked and I was able to pick it up same day. I've been using a Dyson DC17 from 2006 and this Animal 3 is much quieter and picks up a lot more of the finer deep rooted dirt. I thought the turbine attachment would work on shorter dog fur from my Blue Heeler but like the marketing it really is more for hair.
