Already have a Amzn prime rewards card which is tied to my prime acct. Is it possible to apply 2nd one for spouse under the same prime acct?

(v) is used to apply for another Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature card account that is approved and loaded in that Amazon.com account (that new card account will earn 5% back at Amazon.com)."

What if you sign up new email id for amazon prime acct and can you use that same visa card for 5% cb?

Mine was doing the same and it took me a bit to figure it out. Are you the holder of the actual Prime membership or are you a family piggyback on someone else's Prime account.

I'm a piggyback and don't get the $200 offer.

Hard to see a huge perk here unless you are a huge spender at Amazon. Discover and Chase Freedom both offer $1500 of 5% CB each year, so only a benefit spending >$3k/yr at Amazon IMO. The $200 signup is okay, but lots of other CC's have much larger bonuses.

True you made a valid point but $200 is nothing to laugh at. It perfect for short term usage and then close it.
