The wait time is getting shorter. My iPhone XR traded-in on a Pixel7 was delivered on 12/29. Just got an email that the warehouse received it today 1/5.

Damn, they are giving me $505 for cracked S21, only bad thing is they didnt credit the sales tax on the phone to the method of payment, the tax is additonal FI credit which I dont really need

Nobody gets credit back for the tax on the phone. Credit card gets refunded the cost of the phone, and any excess (trade-in value - cost of phone) goes to Fi credit.

So a cracked screen S21 that powers on has a tendency value of $425 it seems? Is anyone here traded in cracked screen ones and got the full amount without any issues?
full amount? they gave more than the full amount. I sent in 3 X S21 128G bought from ebay, front/back cracked like smashed mirrors (but they do turn on and usable) and each was supposed to be worth $417 but they strangely they gave me 3 X $505.
go figure.

I am thinking maybe they do check for battery strength. Mine charged to 100% and turned off for a week and turned back on still have 98%

Yeah, I think they are overwhelmed in the trade in dept and just making mistakes.

I just signed up for the $10 business tablet deal from T-Mobile which works in phone because I was afraid it was expiring and FOMO so I dont really need this Google Fi line but with $150 credit , I might as well keep it for a few months.

Got a "trade in received" notice two days ago. And a credit email moments after. They appear to be bumping up the credit.

Seems like you bought a phone similar to mine. I got on this deal late in the game, so my expected return was just north of 100 bucks less. Because I did a payment plan, I got store credit which is fine with me.

no. I think it is intentional. I sent them in days apart and I can't imaging they make the same mistake 3 times in a row on 3 different occasions. I was afraid they were gonna give me zero so send in one to test water and once that cleared send the second. Was gonna wait for several more days but since I was ahead already I decided to send the last one 3 days after the second one. The last one just cleared for 505.

I sent in what I thought was a cracked screen S21 hoping for 417 credit. A couple days of panic when the tracking just stopped (never did recover - USPS tracking seems to be completely broken). Then they credited me 500 bucks b/c they said I had sent in an S21+! I looked back and discovered that's what I purchased off Ebay. I wasn't paying much attention b/c I just wanted something under 100 to trade in. But anyway Google isn't being stingy with their credits. It's amazing I got this phone for free plus two free months of Fi. Unbelievable deal!

but S21+ trade in price is supposed to be lower than S21! I am just scratching my heads. Not complaining tho.

Do you mind indicating what you brought for trade in? I really can't find anything "under 100 to trade in" on eBay. Almost all S21 cost ~$200.

Yeah but most of us take advantage of the situation and quit after 30 days. Maybe they know that is are intentontions. Didnt some people also get free service for the rest of the year last year?

I think Google Fi could be a good service but there per gig pricing is too high. I know there is a cap at 6gb but seriously , if i use 5 gb of data that is $50 + $15 = $75, I prefer my 16gb of data for <$25 a mo no tax with TGT refills or several other low cost options
