Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this has been the price for a while....
This time it works for old customers, last time is works only for new customers.
I like that Android phones are starting to get reasonable compact again

Do you mind indicating what you brought for trade in? I really can't find anything "under 100 to trade in" on eBay. Almost all S21 cost ~$200.
I paid about $135 for a "working" ATT cracked S21. Student Beans had a $15 off $75+ eBay coupon, if you can verify edu email. It was $140 plus $10 tax minus $15

You have to read description - seller should list functional, and powers on . But even with power on you have to be careful because it cant power on to black screen so read carefully

Damn, they are giving me $505 for cracked S21, only bad thing is they didnt credit the sales tax on the phone to the method of payment, the tax is additonal FI credit which I dont really need
I just subscribed to Fi, and am moving 4 lines over to them, buying 2 S22 in the process, and 2 BYOD. I was able to select that I'm trading in an S21, but I could only identify one trade-in opportunity in the process. How did you trade-in 3 phones? Did I miss a step, or do you have separate accounts? TIA!

I only traded in one phone, not 3 to Google Fi but others have traded in more. I'm not versed on trading in multiple. hpham_53 could probably best advise.

I only use single-line accounts, and my multiple trade-ins are for multiple orders, one per order.

You could do single orders with different gmail accounts however if you are planning to do a family plan (not sure Fi's plans) then I guess that might be an issue. I wonder if you could do single orders per line within the same account but I am not sure.

when you create group plan you do one person and then you add in. every add in allows purchase a phone and a trade in. I think I initially did for 6 person and only allowed 1 trade in and then I deleted everyone and added them back in one at a time.

When you add more persons, is each one considered an existing Fi member to qualify for the existing-member 30-day promo?

Alrighty, I figured it out the easy way for a new family group to do it. Will take a couple extra steps.

For the primary user, buy your phone and do your trade-in request. For each additional line, there is an option on the phone purchase page that says something like "Let them choose." That will allow each user you add to your Fi group to choose any option when they join the Fi group. It's an option right there after they connect.

I chose BYOD for my kids, and bought phones with only 1 trade-in for me and my SO. I checked my kids' emails, and even though I submitted them as BYOD, once they accepted the Fi account they were given an option to buy a phone, and they can do a trade-in there too. They also still get the great Samsung pricing with the new line option.

I purchased two S21's for $150 each but seller said both have defective SIM card readers. I'm thinking I should return them buy the cracked screen ones for the same price. At least I'll get $417 for the cracked screen device vs risking the refund on the devices with defective SIM card readers

I bought two cracked S21's... average price was $160 shipped. Got $480 trade in on both.

Yeah but most of us take advantage of the situation and quit after 30 days. Maybe they know that is are intentontions. Didnt some people also get free service for the rest of the year last year?

I think Google Fi could be a good service but there per gig pricing is too high. I know there is a cap at 6gb but seriously , if i use 5 gb of data that is $50 + $15 = $75, I prefer my 16gb of data for <$25 a mo no tax with TGT refills or several other low cost options
i had the free line till Dec 31st. upgraded that phone to a P7. yeah Fi is too expensive if you use data. only good if you go abroad most of the time.
