Google says my S21 Trade in (purchased from eBay like most people here...) was reported: "lost or stolen." My credit card was refunded $0.00 instead of the $417.50 as expected.
What's my recourse here? Thanks for any help.
Ask them to send the phone back (if the phone was in your trade-in box), then return the phone on Ebay for a refund.

Samsung Galaxy S21 (128GB Other)
Phone reported lost or stolen"
That to me sounds like they did receive the product since they list it and its size.
I'm not opposed to requesting the phone back and sending it back to the ebay seller, but that still leaves me out the trade-in credit which is significantly more than the cost of the phone....not to mention that I'm fighting the calendar to get the phone back and send it to the seller before the end of the month when the holiday extended returns end.
I'm doubting they'll accept another trade-in phone too...

* Return the current phone (if it's still within the allowed return period).
* Get the trade-in phone back and return it to Ebay seller.
* Place another Fi S22 order.
* Get another trade-in phone and send it in.

eBay, just like almost everyone else
I don't always remember to do this myself, but I try to look up the IMEI on one of the carrier websites on trade in phones. Sometimes will give you a hit if it's blacklisted.
Interesting data point that shows that they're at least testing the phone to the point that they can determine the IMEI to be able to check it.
