The battery life on this trimmer is ridiculously long and the build quality is very solid. I would highly recommend it if you're in the market for a trimmer.
I don't see the 7000 model on Costco. They have the Philips Norelco Multigroom 9000 Prestige All-in-One Trimmer on Costco for $45, which is after the $20 off manufacturer savings. Was $65.

For $10 more and Costco return policy seems to be a better deal with the extra features in the 9000 model.

I have this, quality is good but design is awful such a pain to use with badly placed overly sensitive power button. I wouldn't buy it again makes me angry every time I use it.

Great price if you like this style of trimmer. I have this (Costco a few months back, same price) and absolutely hate it. Be forewarned the mm numbers stamped on the guards are nearly impossible to read; the guard for 1mm easily allows for nicks, and traveling with this thing is a joke due to the number of guards... in fact even for home use it's super frustrating constantly swapping out guards. Waiting for a price drop on a Panasonic model with a single adjustable guard.
Which Panasonic model? So many ones on Amazon, some are over one hundred dollars.

Maybe it's just incredibly badly designed, but my current cheap adjustable Target Braun clipper gets semi-irritating when it doesn't stay locked on the adjusted setting — where you move the guard either up or down. Maybe those dial ones are better. Needed something inexpensive years ago when my other incredibly cheap one died.

I might swing by Costco to pick up the Norelco. Buy now, think later.

I second this mans statement! I love mine. The battery is truly insane, the charge seems to last forever!

No kidding. I have had mine for about 3 years now and literally have charged it maybe 3 - 4 times and I use it twice weekly

Have the all metal colored Costco version of this. Had it for years now cutting my own hair and and also my two boys. Gets daily use. Still razor sharp and as good as new. Battery life is indeed very impressive and it charges very quickly as well. Only thing I don't like is that you can't lock the power button. It's too easy to activate it when you toss it in a bag for instance. If anyone has a solution for that let me know.

Have you tried holding the power puttin down for 5+ seconds? That works on mine.

This is a great trimmer, but bad as a travel grooming kit. It turns on on the slight touch of some items, I have to make sure to drain all the battery before packing it, and draining it takes forever.
