Last year they gave 40 % off, this year $20 BTC/$30 on the more expensive. Seems like they are taking advantage of the exchange collapses and offering less of a discount.

Paper wallet! I have a ledger that is not too old but the cheap screen got dark and it's now impossible to see. An expensive clunky GUI that you can't even see is too much for me. Now I'm learning about making a paper wallet and I'll store it in the safe with other stuff.

Neither are secure as they have your seed phrase since they created the wallet. Have to make your own wallet to be secure. It may not have the features of the ledger, but it would be secure if you keep your seed phrase in a secure location.
