I work for one of the 3 large credit bureaus and can say most BNPL companies do not make a hard pull. I will say that most BNPL are shady AF when it comes to this. On reddit, one thought is that people with high credit scores won't qualify because the business model is built on people who might not pay so they rack up fees. Not sure if this is true or not, just conjecture from another message board.

If you keep your credit reports frozen (as we all should, just temp unfreeze when seeking new credit), Zip will automatically decline you and tell you that you cannot re-apply for 6 months. There is no recourse for this and they will not help you, even if you explain the situation. Glad I was not approved because they sound like a terrible company.

Too bad it's already out of stock as this is IMHO the best value for a 6xxx series card. It's hard to say if it will ever come back in stock or when exactly Newegg would charge it to us.

You're right in that it's probably the best value card. It'll last many years. Its also back in stock right now, at least for me. I'm just not sure if I should trust zip pay.

This should have YMMV, I do get a big discount that comes to $515 after taxes but not near the $400 range. This is not with the mail in rebate just over to pay upfront.

Update: I was doing the check out with ZIP and ZIP did not approve the item(video card). This could be me buying it for a friend or using a email relay?

Holy smokes this worked for me. Agreed YMMV should probably be in title in case you're not approved by zip, but I had no issue.

My experience:

$534.99 NewEgg Price
- $58.85 (11% for code ZIP11 and paying with ZIP)
- $20.00 Mail-in-rebate
= $456.14 + tax

That is a slickkkkkkkk price for a 6800 XT. Thanks OP.

EDIT: Many already know this as AMD is doing this for most cards right now, but this also includes Dead Island 2 and Callisto Protocol game downloads for FREE.

could be the tel number you're using to verify. prepaid and burner numbers may not work, also some folks have better luck through their app.
