Are older Orbi WiFi satellites compatible with Orbi WiFi 6 Systems?

No. Currently, Orbi WiFi 6 Systems are only compatible with Orbi WiFi 6 satellites.
Likewise, special Orbi AC WiFi satellites such as the Orbi Outdoor Satellite, Orbi Voice, and Orbi Wall-Plug Satellite are not compatible with Orbi WiFi 6 Systems.

I believe you can add them to an existing Orbi setup as extra satellites for example, but it will default to whatever the slowest speed is between all the units.

Are Orbis worth it in 2022? I had that 3X RBR 20 model, which started out great, but turned into absolute trash a few months after warranty ended.
