What's the F after the K & is K better than KF?

Also what would be the equivalent AMD chip(s)?

Closest AMD equivalent would be a 7700x. But 13th gen ends up the better deal as you can use DDR4 (cheap) or DDR5 (expensive, small gains). As well as cheap B660 or Z690 boards (B760 and Z790 too, but those are more expensive) while for the 7700x you have to buy expensive AM5 (B650, X670). So similar performance but the 13th gen build ends up cheaper.
