This thing is the most gorgeous useless laptop you are ever going to own. Gorgeous. For 150 it's amazing as a piece of industrial art. Now practically useless because so slow. Comes with a pen. But when you try to use it's so slow that can't be used for any practical end. Can't even deal with a simple YouTube video without slowing to frustration. But yes it's gorgeous.

AMD 3150c processor. 3292 multicore and 1700 single core benchmarks. Very capable on Chrome OS..unsure if ram is upgradable though.

Got 2 on the previous deal.

The only complaint I have is the sticky trackpad buttons (the buttons get stuck occasionally) but for the price they are truly amazing.

They are now my go-to for most trips because I simply have no fear of breaking or loosing it. Gonna try to get another spare and perhaps a few more for gifts this time round.

As I had posted in the previous threads -- this machine is an enigma to me. Everything looks good on paper to have a decent chromebook for browsing -- except it occasionally freezes for more than 5 seconds even after turning on a few optimization settings. Great for media consumption with exceptional build quality (in this price range) and relatively decent screen, but the pen and writing-on-screen aspects are not useful due to freezes during notetaking. The freezes seem to appear after opening the third or fourth tab in browser as well. Not sure if I am the only one who received a dud.

No, I use the stable channel for all of my chromebooks (I will try the beta channel to see if things change for this device though -- thanks for the suggestion). I have not experienced these occasional freezes on 3+ year old chromebooks with 3350/4000 celerons and 4gb ram, even with 32 GB eMMC. That is why it is so maddening to keep going through the freezes on this machine, It completely ruins remote meeting and note taking experience. Media consumption is all good though -- but as we all know 2GB is enough for good media consumption at 1080p.
