Why you need new Wi-Fi ssid? Configure it to the same ssid and just turn off the old one. Most device will reconnect to the new Wi-Fi. Some IoT might require a reboot.

What is up with the 40 concurrent device limit? With IoT devices, I feel like most will hit that limit quick or already surpassed it. Am I missing something? 6,000 sqft, 4 vlans, but only 40 devices???

$270 for TP-Link Deco AXE5300 Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh System

I'm totally new to mesh systems. 3-story home, 3700sq ft or so, but have a 1000sq ft detached garage (50ft off main house) that currently gets wifi signals from an older nighthawk.

Man i am in the same boat. Can't decide this or the AXE5300. Everybody rave about this Orbi but then i see the device limit and wire backhual.

Well, I don't know what kind of challenges I will face, but plan to keep same WIFI SSID Name and password.

If you know the challenges, please let me know or if there's an issue or not utilizing the benefits of this one.

Use the same SSID and key. I've done it many times when testing different routers and replacing routers.

There should be no issues. Just keep the same encryption.
