Keep in mind, these are retro games. You're not going to be getting any Game of the Year contenders in this collection. I'd say this is mostly for people who played these games growing up and want to revisit and just a nice way to be able to play these for those of us who got rid of their old systems or don't have hdmi adapters to be able to play on current TV setups.

Emulators? Either way the answer is that the core gameplay is not. They are basically roms of the stuff we remember from nes/snes/cabinets. I think they've added a rewind feature (which should be helpful if anyone wants to take a crack at tmnt on nes), and coop. IMO for 20 bucks it's a pretty good buy even if I never touch the non beat-em-ups. Turtles in Time and Hyperstone Heist are both as good as good as Shredder's Revenge IMO.

One note that the cheat code commands you we used in Nintendo to gain more 30 lives do not work on them. Which is a bummer to me since that is one of the fun I used before.

just install an emulator on your pc or tablet, or heck even on your phone.
