I don't know if this is common with a lot of fight sticks (I don't own any), but with this one, you need to connect this via controller passthrough with PS4 and Xbox One. With PC and Switch, you can connect the stick directly to them.
I keep telling myself I'm going to buy this each time the sale pops up and I never do. This has to be the cheapest way of getting sanwa stick/buttons without buying used/second hand. The case looks amazing, and it's not too small like the mayflash elite.
