Seems like the m325 is the better way to go being 18 month battery life and slightly larger.

I have become way too addicted to 5+ button programmable mice. I don't mean to tc, but even my backup mice have these features. If you buying these for your young children, these are great.

Worth it for the Unifying receiver alone if you need one dongle to rule them all.

Worth it for the unifying receiver alone. For anyone who has any Logitech device they no longer use because they lost its receiver. Here you go, get a free mouse with your replacement reciever.

I thought both of them felt cheap. I returned the M325 I bought back to staples, replaced it with the M510 which accompanied the K350 keyboard combo. Much better

M325 is a better mouse. It has that tilt left/right middle button while the M317 doesn't. You may not need the 2 extra "buttons". Bu since they are the same price, the M325 is a no-brainer.

This is an excellent mouse - super long battery life and works consistently well - I've used one for years and couldn't be happier

Both are budget models for sure. I was eyeing the Master 2S deal though it's still pricey it's a much lower than normal, not that I really need it.. kind of have a problem lol
