Cancellations / Refunds
We want you to be delighted with your purchase of this prepaid service. If you are not satisfied with your service and it is within 30 days of receiving your starter kit, we will refund your purchase in full. However, if you have consumed more than 30 minutes, 30 texts, or 30MB of data, it will be considered buyer's remorse and a refund will not be available.
If you do not contact us to cancel the plan within this 30 day period, or if you consume more than 30 minutes, 30 texts or 30MB of data, your purchase will be considered buyer's remorse and you will no longer qualify for a refund.

Online Product Purchases are ineligible for refunds after thirty (30) calendar days from the order date. Online Product Purchases bundled with a service plan must be activated within ninety (90) calendar days of the order date. Any Online Product Purchases that are not activated by customers within ninety (90) calendar days of the order date may be rendered inactive and the bundled service plan expired.
UNLIMITED DOES NOT MEAN UNREASONABLE USE
UNLIMITED voice services are provided solely for live dialog between two individuals. UNLIMITED voice services may not be used for conference calling, 3-way calling, call forwarding, monitoring services, data transmissions, transmission of broadcasts, transmission of recorded material, or other connections that do not consist of uninterrupted live dialog between two individuals.
If Red Pocket finds that you are using an UNLIMITED voice service offering for anything other than live dialog between two individuals, Red Pocket may at its option terminate your service or change your plan to one with no UNLIMITED usage components.

Beware the term is 360 days not 365 so wait a few days to catch next years sale for renewal. Also no leniency for being a day outside 90 day sim kit expiry. Between the juggling new sims to fix network issues lost one line and received no flexibility for a multi year customer. Its in the terms so to be fair it was my fault but considering the nightmare and lost service they could have been more flexible.

Beware the term is 360 days not 365 so wait a few days to catch next years sale for renewal. Also no leniency for being a day outside 90 day sim kit expiry. Between the juggling new sims to fix network issues lost one line and received no flexibility for a multi year customer. Its in the terms so to be fair it was my fault but considering the nightmare and lost service they could have been more flexible.

But this is strictly for new lines. It will not work for renewing.
As a 3-year customer, all the issues others mention are real. When it works, its fine, but getting it all working right is more trouble than I have ever had with any other cellular service.
And if you need any kind of customer service to fix problems on their end it is a coin flip as to if you get someone who knows how to fix the issue or how to get ahold of someone who knows how to fix the issue.
When their system shut off my service 15 days early it took 4 calls before anyone said anything but "sorry, you must be wrong" even when their own website showed my renewal date was 15 days away and my account history showed the activation was 345 days prior.
Just understand what you are getting into before you pull the trigger. This is not some big telco that offers a generally streamlined experience.

Has anyone tried this yet? If so, if you're already on an annual plan that expires in say a month or two, will the new year 1 year plan automatically go into effect once your current one year purchase expires? The website seems to indicate it will, but I don't trust them. I remember in the past, reading from others then if you add the new one year plan to your account now, you lose all remaining days left from your old plan. Can anyone confirm how this renewal is setup after going through the process?

am used to renew at regular price $270 on redpocket website.
i do see an option for renewal / existing sim option for $220 on ebay.
after purchase do they send a code / link to apply it to my current line.
