Pixel 7 Pro $800 Off w. Trade-In and Free Pixel Watch (36mo Device Plan)

+15 Deal Score

Appears this may be targeted (Unlimited plan) but check your account to make sure. I was able to trade a Google Pixel 5 in for $800 credit (over 36mo device plan) and include a watch of choice up to $399.99 in value (includes Galaxy Watch 4, Watch5, Google Pixel Watch, Oribic Smart Wrist).

I know people will slam device payment plans but I've been a Verizon customer for 20+ yrs, so this is a no-brainer. More knowledgeable folks here may also be able to advise whether early payoffs are options.

Total price in cart for Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch should be $131.78, inclusive of the $35 activation ("upgrade fee") and the sales tax on the phone (~$96.78). Remaining balance on Pixel 7 Pro is around $2.75/mo for the 36mo period.

Is this only because you're trading in a Pixel 5?

I can only seem to get $400 trade in for my Pixel 3 now. Pretty disappointed to learn I could have had a free Pixel 7 if I had traded in on preorder. Something nobody bothered to tell me when I called this August.

If you do this deal, screen shot everything.
Take pictures of your trade-in powered on - front & back.
If you talk to customer service do so over chat so you can send yourself transcripts.
Take every conceivable precaution.
I traded in 3 phones last BF and it took me over 6 months to get the last one credited and that was only because I had proof of EVERYTHING.

Per the Black Friday ad, it should also come with free Pixel Buds. I'm going to talk to a rep to see if that's included.

"A free Google 5G
phone. Plus, a Tablet,
Pixel Watch & Buds.
All on us."
I believe the phone and tablet are also done with device credits over 36 months and may require a monthly plan.

I wish any other provider worked where I live, Verizon CS is crap.

I know this a deal post but I got to ask, for all android users on Verizon, what do you think of the service? I switched over about a year ago and I have not been impressed at all, but oddly enough I think apple users have a better experience. So I'm wondering what others think.

No one here seems to mind about how much issues this and other pixel phones have. The minute I hear of all the issues a phone have, I stop looking for deals on it. Maybe people don't mind it if they get it for a lesser price...like somehow, they phone all of a sudden is better when they can get it cheaper even though it's the same phone with all the same issues.
I don't know about everyone else, but I have have been using google phones since they were called Nexus. Each Pixel phone I have had has been outstanding especially the phone. My problem is I think Verizon is trash but mainly for android users. I was using Google Fi for a while and sprint before that and I was fine, I switched to Verizon thinking it would be better, 3x android phones and 3 majors and its crap connection everywhere. The people I know using iPhones dont have the same problems.

Hi,

Were you able to successfully trade in, order the phone, tablet, buds and watch against a NEW line or an UPGRADE line. I seem to be able to add everything and get a 400 trade in credit for pixel 5 but unclear if I will get gift card for buds, tablet and watch or if the amount should be reduced... appreciate your experience

Certainly. Depends on location and cash flow for some as well. With yours, you're married to VZ for 3 years.

Much cheaper to buy it unlocked and buy a year of redpocket, mint mobile or your other favorite MVNO for 3 years.

These aren't real numbers, just ballparking them. So, buy unlocked pixel for ~$800, 1 yr unlimited with mint $360 (X3 for 3 years is ~$1200) total is around $2k.

Now, ONLY 3 years for Verizon unlimited is over $3k. I'll stop there.
thanks man. I was about to go ahead with the purchase and port in. saved me!!

Great advice. I work in the service field and i take pics of all the work i do for proof to the clients. I always wondered if i can trade in multiple phones at a time.

As an FYI the free watch requires that you add a new line of service for the watch itself. For example, with my plan that would have been an extra $10 a month for the watch's line of service that you need to keep active for 36 months. Still a decent deal if you wanted 5g connectivity for the watch anyway, but i just wanted the wifi version which ends up costing less to just buy as it costs $300 vs $360 over 36 months for the line fees. You also get the pixel buds with this promo which makes it a better value proposition, but everyone in my family already has decent buds, so for me that didn't matter.

Damm cant see myself locking into a 3 year contract if its not for the top end phone. This should be 2 years max with a low grade plan with the option to upgrade.

So I calculated a lot of things before I pulled the trigger yesterday. I was with Sprint until 2019 when I moved to AT&T. I have 4 lines and I paid $160 after taxes for the basic plan with AT&T. The services are very bad at many times.

I have been wanting to go with Verizon because I have a work phone through Verizon. The services are hands down better with good data and less call drops.

I turned in my 3 off 4 devices and essentially got 3 updated devices and I kept one which I am using. If I were to bring my own device and use them for a year I would still have to buy new devices from outside which may not be free or I still would have had to pay a 300-$400 more with the way these devices cost.

My after taxes cost came to $186 with Verizon a month. With that i get 25 GB Hotspot per month, plus Hulu Disney and ESPN+ included. Then I get $200 for each of the lines switched and devices purchased at Verizon. So that's $600 more in my pocket. And not to mention 3 brand new latest phones where Apple would not upgrade ios on certain devices after certain time. I have that experience with my iPad and then obviously better quality of data and cellular network with Verizon.

I've been with Verizon for 4 years. First black Friday trade in deal it took me a year and an email to their executive staff before getting my money.

Next black Friday (2 years ago), I still have not gotten credit for 2 out of 3 phones. I contacted them no less than 10x and ultimately gave up because of 2+ hour holds during COVID.

Guess I was lucky and eventually got everything I was owed. It has made me hesitant of doing trade-ins with Verizon.

FYI phone companies don't care about the phones, they care about locking you up into a contract. The best scenario is to find a cheap carrier and buy a phone unlocked. I ended up buying the Pixel 7 pro at Best Buy and am using on my Xfinity mobile plan. It's absurd that people are paying around 100 bucks of month when there are cheaper alternatives that they don't know about.
