In for one, nice good shave with long baterry life. Forgot my charging cord in my mobile home when I was evicted, while in the homeless shelter for 3wks. This things a beast. 😁

Just an FYI that these are the older gen, LV65 vs the newer gen LV67.

Last year I got the LV67 at BestBuy for $119.

The best deal on this was about $95 one year ago I think. The $10 is for inflation I suppose. I'll likely buy one tomorrow. They'll likely repeat it on Cyber Monday too or just keep it running into Monday.

I felt like I saw a lot of recs for One Blade so I told my partner about it. He hates spending money on shavers, hates shaving, barely grows facial hair and for some reason is afraid of regular shaving and think he will cut himself a lot just because he has some acne scars. I've told him that's not true but it's impossible to change his mind. Is this really worth it over just buying a new $30 version every year? Since the blades are so expensive.

If he grows thin facial hair (physically thin in diameter) then he can get away with any cheap shaver. The arc5 excels at shaving razor-close to the skin, which is great for people with normal/thick strands that need a close shave to hide the 5-oclock shadow look.

Wet shaver as in using it in shower and it won't be damaged? Or as in you can rinse it out but not submerge it? I used to spend $80-100 on norelco cooling shavers. Used them in shower and batteries eventually went completely dead and unchargeable not long after.

Havent used these electric shavers but see their convenience.
Serious Qs - do these electric shavers damage the skin after repeated uses?
It says wet/dry shaving...so can it be used with the shaving cream?

I also have thick hair + permanent acne scars. I use an arc5 (LV5E) circa 2019 with the original foil and it still cuts as close as new.

Triple header user for decades and got this last June for $93. Doesn't shave any better than a $40 Norelco. The pop up trimmer is serious business so have a steady hand. Looks and feels like a quality razor.

More info than anyone probably cares to read

TLDR: lv65 and lv67 are the same except for visual upgrades. They are both technically, in terms of shaving and blades, gen 2.

My first panny shaver lasted 10yrs, my 2nd one is around the same, this will be my 3rd. What usually goes bad is the battery... After around 10yr mark for me with very light 2min daily shaving and I never replace the blades.

Love mine; the original blade lasted nearly a year and then some. One thing I love is if you forget to charge it and it's dead, just charge it for 3-4 minutes and it's enough to do a full shave. It's Panasonic, they're quality. I'm just not 100% sure on their replacement blades. I feel like it's not as good as the one that comes with the unit but still, no complaints honestly.
