Panasonic has been selling this model since 2015. I bought this around 5 years ago at this price :-) There is almost nothing to innovate in this space. Panasonic in Japan have been recycling with minimal changes until recently when they released Arc6 and I am not sure if another trimmer blade makes it any better(its $400 at amazon !!!). There is also LV97 which has tiny differences with this model and is $150 at amazon.

I bought this in 2017 and haven't replaced the blades yet. I think I'll just buy a new one for $100!

Target had this for $61 last December. But that was a rare holiday sale. $99 is really the best price other than that. A great shaver well worth it.

I actually use it to shave my head. I use a blade first and then go over it with this, so in my experience it gets closer than a blade (or at least gets whatever the blade missed).
