If you have 5% additional statement credit thru Chase Freedom - PayPal route, you get effective 4.5% extra on top of this discounted gc deal making it 14.5% off, or 9.5% on top of red card discount.
Depending on how much you shop at Target annually and your personal cash flow priorities vs need to save the extra % off, you can decide whether to block money in the gc.
If you decide to get in on this deal but also have the red card, you can prioritize to use red card for smaller transactions where red card can get you free shipping. You can select to use the discounted gc for when you're doing store pick up, or 35$+ shipping orders wherein you'd not have shipping charges to deal with anyway.

Seems like you are saying both the ability to "save offer" and the ability to exercise the offer are for the period Dec 3-4.

Edit : I see it is valid on Dec 3rd and 4th. I thought we save the offer now to avail the discount on those dates.
Usually I do this every year but I'm struggling to find a good reason to get the extra $25 for free. Just hardly any deals I care for and so far today I've bought nothing. Meh.

The first two years of this offer though it was fantastic. Because you could not only buy other gift cards like Disney. But you could buy target gift cards with gift cards (like for people in general that say had a $100 gift card but wanted two $50's). And it allowed it on this deal. Only catch was the new gift cards weren't active the next day (which was a one day promo so you couldn't use those that day).
But for any target gift cards already in hand you basically went that day and bought new gift cards for a 10% bonus. Then the following day you could flip them for Disney etc.
But to be clear both those perks were done away with a few years ago.
