I have 13 of these cameras. 2 mounted outdoors under overhangs and going strong for nearly 4 years. One indoors in my kitchen, working fine for 2.5 years. 10 of these in a cabinet until I figure out what I can do with inexplicably bricked $30 Wyze pan cams.

Suffice it to say I count myself very lucky on three of these, but overall my luck has not been great. I stopped buying them after the 10th one went bad. I do have six other Wyze cams (two original, four v3) that work fine. Had two v3's replaced under warranty at initial launch.

I still recommend Wyze, but with a caveat, everything I buy from them, I consider a short-life perishable item. Occasionally, I am pleasantly surprised. Mostly, I'm not. Price is typically consistent with quality where they are concerned.

On another note, from Amazon: "-70% $29.98 List Price: $100.00"? In what world were these ever sold for $100?
Which is even more interesting seeing that the only two that have worked well for nearly 4 years are the two that have been in use outdoors (with silicone covers). The other eleven were used indoors only and bricked in batches. Probably due to firmware updates, but unable to verify. Wyze support was minimally helpful. They replaced the first three that bricked but left me on my own for the other seven (three of which were replacements for the first bricked cams.)

Not trashing Wyze here, just sharing my experience.
"$100?" Whatever. It's like $35 every day in WYZE. I have one. It is cool.

Wyze's website has the same one for $24.99 + shipping. recent reviews on this one on Amazon do not seem great. Any one here likes it? Does it provide storage

I've been a user on Wyze for years. These cameras are amazing. They're one of these few cameras that have free (limited) cloud storage for 2 weeks. This camera has amazing night vision, plus the ability to pan around.
There is no onboard storage, but they do offer support for external memory cards. I believe this model no longer has the 32GB restriction.

Agreed - buying a 4th one now (have the doorbell, flood light and a pan cam like this one on sale)

Supposed to be yes. I have one under an overhang since 2019 and it's still doing fine.

These are great as a nannycam for your pets but if you need anything more serious then don't waste your money
