Suffice it to say I count myself very lucky on three of these, but overall my luck has not been great. I stopped buying them after the 10th one went bad. I do have six other Wyze cams (two original, four v3) that work fine. Had two v3's replaced under warranty at initial launch.
I still recommend Wyze, but with a caveat, everything I buy from them, I consider a short-life perishable item. Occasionally, I am pleasantly surprised. Mostly, I'm not. Price is typically consistent with quality where they are concerned.
On another note, from Amazon: "-70% $29.98 List Price: $100.00"? In what world were these ever sold for $100?

There is no onboard storage, but they do offer support for external memory cards. I believe this model no longer has the 32GB restriction.

Agreed - buying a 4th one now (have the doorbell, flood light and a pan cam like this one on sale)

Which is even more interesting seeing that the only two that have worked well for nearly 4 years are the two that have been in use outdoors (with silicone covers). The other eleven were used indoors only and bricked in batches. Probably due to firmware updates, but unable to verify. Wyze support was minimally helpful. They replaced the first three that bricked but left me on my own for the other seven (three of which were replacements for the first bricked cams.)
