As for THIS dealโฆ oof, not good. Adorama beat this by $240 a month ago. One of the funny things about SD is quoting past deals and someone says, "do you have a time machine?"
This was JUST RECENTLYโฆ way, way less. Personally I'd wait it out. With the RS3 and Proโฆ the previous gen will repeat a better sale than thisโฆ up until they're almost gone. At this sale price you're almost the same difference $-wise to the 3Pro Combo as the difference in price for this exact listing a month ago.
If the site was called "buy it if you need it" I'd save my commentโฆ but I'm a bit surprised to see +6 TU on something that's 50% more $ than it was 4 weeks ago.
EDIT: Uhโฆ actually just 2 weeks ago.

While I agree that there was a better price at ONE TIME a few months ago and this is only $30 from the price it's been for several monthsโฆa "few months" IS the PAST and unless you DO HAVE A TIME MACHINE this is the CURRENT best price.

Previous gear generations are like stocksโฆ the time machine comments are akin to telling people to "buy the peak" instead of "buy the dip"โฆ if "buy high, since you don't have a time machine" is good advice hereโฆ they need to change the site name.
The opening post where it normally says "$10 less than previous front page"โฆ could say, "Only $240 higher than 12 days ago".
