US Mobile gave me a TERRIBLE hassle when I tried to port my number out after a previous free trial. Their customer verification system needs more work. First I validated the email address on the account, but then was asked to still call in to speak to a service rep. The service rep had me sign in to the account and verify the remaining days and expiration date of my current trial, but then said it did not match what was showing on their system. I had a screenshot of the dash and they still could not accept that. So then I had to go back in the account and literally create 3 answers to 3 security questions while on the call, and then read off my answers to him. I'm pretty sure the rep could hear my frustration at this rigamrole when I gave him three identical and wholly irrelevant answers.

If you know you're going to just dispose of the number after the trial, then free 100 day trial is still a free 100 day trial. But just be aware of possible hassles if you need to port out at the end.

I've had US Mobile for a couple months. So far its great. I'm using the Verizon network / sim and 5G gets high priority. 4G does get deprioritized if busy. I swapped from Total by Verizon when I couldn't activate my Pixel 7. US Mobile activated with esim and card on my Pixel 7 and hotspot works fine. Highly recommend so far. Wish I had gotten in on this!

This may be a ticket out of T-Mobile and return after 90 days as a new customer to get their new customer deals.

Any reviews of US mobile? Looking to leave Red Pocket with 6 lines. Anyone know what the add on fees per month are for the basic unlimited family plan?
US Mobile has been great for us for the last year with 3 lines in the midwest USA.

Is it easy to change plan on their web portal? or do you have to call the customer service to change plan?

When does the offer end? Would be nice to transfer over after the free Google Fi plan ends at the end of the year

I'm in my second month using US Mobile after porting in from Total By Verizon (Total Wireless). So far I'm extremely happy with the service. We have three lines on a pooled plan. I chose 13 GB per month so the total is $54.44/month. Due to traveling this week for Thanksgiving, we'll need more data. It's easy to add more data using their a app for $2 per GB.

In addition to the cost savings, I've been really happy with their support. Had a free small issues porting in one of my lines, and their chat support via the app was extremely helpful. Also, their support agents are very active on the official US Mobile subreddit. They have been quick to answer some basic questions there.

So far so good, and I've recommended US Mobile to friends and family. Yet they all seem to prefer to pay Verizon a lot more money for the same service.
We currently have Total by Verizon and have the grandfathered 2 lines for $60 unlimited plan. I understand that the rate may go away in the future but for now they are honoring it. It looks like you may be paying less with US Mobile. Any other reason why you left Total by Verizon and switched to this? Thanks!

I had the three line grandfathered plan and was paying about $90/month. It had a lot of data, but I work from home and my wife and kid don't use much data, so I was paying for something I wasn't using. So mostly switched for the $30+ per month in savings.

Also, my wife and I both have Pixel 4a phones. The March 2022 update broke the hotspot. Apparently it affected a lot of Pixel phones on TracFone carriers. I think it's really a Google issue, not a carrier issue, but I do like to use my hotspot sometimes for working in the car while traveling. As soon as we switched to US Mobile, my hotspot worked again.

Tempted to switch given my Mint plan cuts out in a few days, from what I see there is no downside, 15gb a month instead of 10gb on mint for the same price and it's monthly instead of an annual payment. VZW + T Mobile, Wifi calling now works with them too.. (Android user here)
Verizon OR T-Mobile. Not both.

Total LOST priority data when TracFone was acquired by Verizon.

If you've noticed lower speeds, that's why.

If you haven't - then it's working well for you.

Port-in will be for a business. Do they offer a caller id with a business name?

I've had US Mobile for a little over a year. 3 lines all with warp on the Verizon network. They're awesome. I've never noticed any throttling issues. In fact, my stupid Comcast cable turns to molasses every night and I just turn off Wi-Fi and it's back in business.

Has anyone ported their 1 month straight talk number used for Best Buy Apple trade-in --> Pixel 7 for this port in requirement? Trying to figure out the best way to do this, if it's even possible. Am thinking I'd need to unbox the iPhone XR from Straight Talk, set it up, activate... then wipe it before trading in to Best Buy. Thoughts?

So for my mom I'll go down to $15 plan. Assuming after 100 days I'll pay $25 for the first month and 15gb then down to 5gb at $15 from then on?
