They are waterproof but need to be hardwired into a junction box (say from your eaves).
Also, another negative (or positive for some): " Please note the power adapter is not waterproof and the four flood lights are connected to each other on one cord and can not be cut."

"Please note the power adapter is not waterproof " Right on the product description.
And they provide a "solution" for waterproofing in the Q&A as well:
Question:How can i water proof a power adapter?
Answer:Best method is to use a waterproof eletrical box, like the SOCKIT BOX. Come in a few sizes and black or green. WIres are run through waterproof openings on either ends. Install the controller in the box, along with the power plug, and run an extension cord from your GFI to the SOCKIT Box.

I agree it's crappy, BUT I've had a sockit box for years and it has been great even getting full sun all day. I just don't understand how anyone can really use these with the cords unable to be cut. Seems like it'd make for a janky install.

Yeah that was a deal breaker for me. If I'm getting four flood lights I want flexibility. Otherwise I am tempted because the flood lights I have always said their own proprietary remote control which are easy to lose or damage.
So using the govee app would be a nice fail safe. But doesn't work for me if I have to use all four on a string

This is more of accent light than flood light. Would've been great if they let you add or deduct lights. I lucked out since I needed four… barely made the installation due to the length provided.
Philips Hue Lily's are only about 590 lumens... I think for their application (outdoor accent lighting meant for when it's very dark outside), it's plenty of lumens.
