How something be outdoor and not waterproof. I bought them yesterday but not realized that nonsense.

Also a cheap option for a dark attic space. Hang them on rafters etc. for nice bright lights throughout. If you want a dance party instead of warm white while in the attic, I won't judge.

Yes, and the pictures are VERY misleading (I would say intentionality deceitful, or even "fraudulent"). Besides the spacing, one of the pictures has at least 33 bulbs visible, with additional bulbs implied, based on the limited view. These lights might work for lighting up an area, but I'm guessing they would not make a good substitute for regular Christmas lights. Maybe the lights would work alright, but I don't want to take the chance due to the dishonest advertising.

I have these and they are not bright at all. I use them on my gazebo. The only bright is the setting for high white. All the colors are not bright at all. They are durable tho. The power box is not waterproof. It's safe for me because it's under my gazebo and will never get wet by water

it's just the bulb bases and the power supply that can't get water in them; there's 96' of wire that may handle weather well
