Because the downvoting is artificial from people who have "glitch" deal alerts and then when they realize it's a real glitch they downvote in hopes of keeping people from attempting it so the retailer has fewer orders, thus creating a lower chance of their own order getting cancelled when the retailer doesn't have to take as big a hit and just says, "Eh, we'll let it slide."

But the deal editor knows this so they front paged it because downvoting it is in bad faith.
