    Pretty fun ARPG. If you care about story, play the male character first. Playing the female lead basically spoils any questions you would have during his story.

    You can change it. Also don't feel bad about playing on an easier difficulty. The game just makes the bosses hp sponges on harder modes.

    Thanks for the replies. I'll try picking it up again and just dropping the difficulty, or looking for that item that prevents death. I recall enjoying the game, or at least wanting to see how it plays out, until that fight. I was playing as Yuito and had gotten pretty far into the story, according to Wikipedia. I won't post my current spot since this forum doesn't seem to support spoiler tags, but I was decently far into it (about half-way down the Plot description [wikipedia.org])

    I played through this game when it was on Game Pass. I really enjoyed it. The story was very interesting and the gameplay got easier as you went.
