Mine developed screen issues after 1 year and 6 months.
Warranty expired after a year and it cost $93 dollars for diagnostics but I figured out a work around by lowering the hertz of the screen down from 144 to 60.
The screens have a defect. Probably some cheap capacitor is the cause.
If you don't believe me search "ASUS tuff screen" on Reddit. That's where I learned about the hertz trick.
The mousepad are also defective and will randomly stop working for several seconds.
Unless they fixed these issues I would try another laptop.
How is the display nits and quality, also how good durable is this model especially in the hinges ?
Looking for a reliable machine that can serve for 3 to 5 yrs
says the chassis is mil spec, so it should hold up

I've had this machine for 6 months or so. It's pretty solid. I maxed the memory and added a samsung 980 pro m2 drive.
