For those who care, these are 90CRI according to GE.

Nice find. I have had these for about a year for under cabinet lighting. Works well — nothing fancy like syncing to your music for fun light patterns but they do have a few holiday and random color schemes. You can add a certain amount of extensions too (up to 32 feet total). Once you cut an extension, you can't continue to add to that line (unless you mod them).

We use the Alexa app to schedule gradual on in the morning and off at night.

Biggest pain point: they don't have extensions that don't light up if you want to extend lights through an area you don't want lighted. I guess you could tape over that section.

For those who own these will these fit in standard led strip mounts? Thinking about using them on our RV under awning lighting

Would these work for around my garage door outside? Wouldn't get wet but cold and hot. Bright enough?

Do these get actually white or are they just RGB?

Thanks. $20 per strip is cheap enough I bought two of them to try out a couple ideas I had for ambient lighting in the bedroom.

Walmart has this for $25 with a $6 reward for Walmart+ plus members I assume. I've never seen the reward offer before.

Do these have the insanely bad connectivity/reliability issues that CYNC has had previously? I've had 2 CYNC bulbs that have been absolutely garbage as far as reliability. Unable to turn them on or off, daily resets, sometimes works, sometimes not, factory defaults never fixed them and GE said "there's no issues". I just dumped them for some Hue bulbs because of the reliability issue.

I have one, it's been fine. In fact, all my cync bulbs have worked well. They get updates, maybe that helped with connectivity issues

Are the firmware updates delivered from the app to the lights or is there another way it needs to be performed?

My direct connect strip does have connection issues now and then, but nothing like my older C by GE smart bulb. I also haven't had to reset the light strip in years and it's just a button push instead of the ridiculous build reset process.
The most recent update created more lighting option with the light strip, like having it cycle through set or random colors and patterns.

Not mine. No issues at all for the year or so that I've had mine. I do keep up with firmware updates.

Yes, you just go into the app and manually tap update. If there are multiple available, you have to repeat the process.
