Agreed. They didn't budge on pricing in the past 2 weeks of Samsung deals. It was all the same. I expect the same for Cyber Monday.
They did on the S95B through EPP. It just dropped a couple days ago to a price matching the lowest it's ever been. And they added a Samsung Care warranty for free that they sell for $350.

I believe their EDU system is straightforward if you have access to an email ending in .edu

I feel like you need to both hassle a rep for the extra two year warranty and stack on cashback deals before this resembles a good deal, at least by SD standards. Once you start approaching OLED money, high-end LCD TVs only make sense for really bright rooms with a lot of daytime viewing IMO
No hassle needed. Just chat with a rep and say you want to buy the TV and you'll like the promo warranty added. That is all I did.

I set up and verified a govt discount profile, but even though I login, every time I get to the view cart, it never shows me as logged in, and I don't see the quoted prices from here.

I'll wait for another year. There are NO good deals on mid or high end TV's this year.

No Dolby Vision No Bueno!
Let me Educate you, Samsung supports HDR+ which does the same exact thing Dolby Vision offers which reading the metadata to allow scene specific HDR.

YouTube, Amazon, Apple TV, Hulu, etc

Netflix doesn't but as stated there are many other platforms that do. Watching a movie/show in Hdr+ creates the same experience on a Samsung premium tv as does Dolby Vision on others.

I own both.

Haha this is hilarious and for your general awareness- Samsung offers HDR10 not HDR+.

If your education is true then Why is Samsung the only one who doesn't support Dolby Vision?

And now let me educate you - a simple google and YouTube search can enlighten you with the difference between HDR10 and Dolby Vision

Read the first sentence - https://androidtvnews.com/dolby-v...msung-tvs/

Dolby vision is superior.
I think the post meant hdr10+ instead of hdr+

Qn85 is mini LED while Q80b is regular LED. So, the black control and brightness are higher with QN85b compared to Q80b
