Was able to grab a 256gb space grey for pickup. After resale value of the 2020 iPad Pro seems like a pretty no brainer for upgrade to the M1 chip.

Totally different use cases. As a consumption device the mini is superior, but it doesn't have the M1 chip in there.

gives you the option for good protection and coverage of the screen while easily being able shed the cover and still have protection. it's fairly bulky with everything on, but, imo that's a good thing. basically 2 cases in one

unless you plan to use iPad as replacement of a laptop, M1 is overkill. I use macbook air M1 on 8gb and rarely crosses 15% processor usage ON A LAPTOP. Think what you can do on M1 iPad. Way overkill buddy.
