I only ordered an iPad and it was in a brown box, which was placed inside a target box. I didn't have any issues with my iPad being delivered, however, I was nervous the moment I saw it was being delivered via FedEx. I've had my share of issues with them in the past.

Yep, you're right, now I see the edges are left completely bare. The info from that Woot Smart folio case was incorrect. Sorry for any confusion!

Shady. Mine went through bloomington, ca which apparently has had a significant issue with theft

edit* Target also said they would put their investigations team on it and would take 5-7 business days which is bs
Ugh, sucks that you are facing this too. I filed a theft report at the police station today, and informed target about it. I'll also email them a copy of the report once I get it. If they decide to not refund/replace, I plan to open a dispute with PayPal. Unnecessary churn, but whatever. Lesson learned.

Mine is finnally showing movement after a tracking label issues 2 days ago via Fed Ex. I am trying to divert it to local pickup at Walgreens. I hope that is the wiser choice than allowing it to be dropped off at my front dooe without signature.

I also had mine delivered to a Walgreens. Interestingly my tracking had a signature required flag on it too. No issues picking mine up this morning aside from no packing material in the box and this thing bounced around for a day in transit, small dent on the iPad box corner. I've been directing all my high value stuff shipped via FedEx to Walgreens. UPS is not a problem only FedEx by me.

Got the package delivered by UPS. You know what! There is no iPad in the package. Just some small paper tissue boxes inside. Not sure if Target warehouse shipped the wrong box, or someone(UPS?) take the shipping label and swapped the box. Contacted custom service and they told me to wait 5-7 business days for investigation. Once the investigation is done, I will get email and I have to return the package to target for refund. What a bummer!
